A Drummer's Site for Drummers Around the World
|
 |
|
This page is a tribute to the greatest drummers of all time and thieir inlfuence and legacy without disregard of the
great and famous drummers of yesterday and today. Many of these drummers are already gone, and despite their work in famous
bands, they have been underrated, gone unnoticed. I will post rare info, audio, and video that showcases their chops
and talent.
You will also find some explanations of drumming technique found in the songs of big drummers, and I explain how
they are performed as I understand the tricks.
I also want to share some links to other sites of interest, some of them widely known and some more obscure sites as
well.
Finally, you will find some info about myself, my influences, and my music career. Feel invited to pay a visit to
my MySpace site.
This page is under slow but steady construction ;-) Keep coming back, I'll try to update information as much as time
allows.

What's New?
On September 19 passed away Earl Palmer, drummer of Little Richard, remembered due
to his many hits since the 50s like Lucille, Long Tall Sally, Kansas City, to name a few. His influence on
the later coming drummers of the 60s and 70s rock includes John Bonham's work on Zep, like in the the unmistakeable into to
Rock And Roll, where Bonzo plays unisons of charles and snare in Palmer's style.
